where do you place your power?

I used to wear my power in my face, in my front features. So much so that my softer touch would be hidden in the back space of my body. People could never see how vulnerable I could be behind this beautiful perfect mask.

Everything changed.

It started with where I placed myself.

Letting people in, not trying to prove or provide with any evidence of the life that I was carrying.

It is there. No need to display it.

Then I chose to wear my vulnerabilities in my presence, letting it shines on stages that everyone could see. My way to becoming human, surrendering to what I am.

My power, though, has been placed in my back, as an unconditional support. I don’t need to show it, I don’t need to see it. The strength I have is so strong that I have complete faith in it. It’s no longer a protection, it is a motor.

So much so that it can be surprised to others, how much momentum comes from my heart, and how much I feed in to my untamed and unmeasured water.
